The ALCOSCAN breathalyzer detects alcohol passive or active. It’s easy to use and contains a sensitive electrochemical sensor. ALCOSCAN is recommended for hospitals, schools and businesses.
ALCOSCAN breathalyzer can be used with or without the active participation of a subject. For active use, the subject must breathe into the unit. For passive use, in ambient environments, such as: inside a car, near a person that’s consumed alcohol or above a drink that contains alcohol.
The flexibility of ALCOSCAN makes it ideal for use in schools (secondary schools, colleges and universities), hospitals and businesses who wish to carry out screening tests.

ALCOSCAN operates using a single button, and contains a user-friendly display: green, orange, or red to indicate the levels of alcohol present. This design allows less error and eliminates the need to convert the values in alternative units of measurement.
Green: alcohol detected in the interval of 0.000 to 0.019%
Orange: alcohol detected in the interval of 0.020 to 0.050%
Red: alcohol detected higher than 0.050%
