Dräger DrugCheck® 3000
The Dräger DrugCheck® 3000 is a single-use drug screening device composed of two parts:
-
An absorbent collector (swab) for collecting an oral fluid sample
-
A test cassette that contains a buffer solution and a results window with two test strips (for control and substance detection)
Simple 5-Step Process
-
Collect the saliva sample using the swab
-
Insert the swab into the test cassette through the funnel opening
-
Shake the test kit to activate the buffer solution
-
Begin the analysis
-
Read the results in the window
A color indicator on the swab fades once enough oral fluid has been collected.
Understanding the Results
-
When the control lines appear in the display window, the results are ready.
-
A visible line next to a drug class indicates a negative result (no trace of the substance detected).
-
If no line appears next to a specific substance class, it indicates a positive result for that drug.
