Experience
With the Fatal Vision Concussion Simulation Goggles, participants experience the effects of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head or body. The concussion prevention program tools included in this kit encourage participants to report a concussion, take measures to prevent a concussion, and follow a doctor’s prescribed recovery protocol should they sustain a concussion.

How It Works
The campaign kit includes a series of activities designed with input from trauma doctors to test hand-eye coordination, visual acuity, balance, and cognitive ability to display a concussion’s impact on each of these core functions. Activities include 5 concussion goggles, yellow and black “walk the line” tape, 4 foam activity balls, 1 concussed activity game and accessories, 450 concussion action steps pocket guides, germicidal disposable wipes, 1 sports activity kit, 1 study activity kit, and a carrying case. Participants perform the activities normally and wear the Fatal Vision Concussion Simulation Goggles. While wearing the goggles, participants experience the simulated TBI symptoms of dizziness, visual disconnect, disorientation, and confusion.
